Depends on what you are trying to do. Send from VCR-Computer or vice versa.

Either way normally you need an rca video cable. On one device you plug it into the video out and on the other you connect it to the video in. Then for sound you need to split/merge your audio, again depending on what way you are going.

    beerboy,

Which way is it you wanna set it up? VCR into the pc or the PC to the VCR? The latter works just fine with a tv-out, but if you want the former, you need a videocard that has VIVO capabilitys. VIVO stands for "Video In, Video Out". What videocard do you have? Put your system in your signature so we can see and try to help. Welcome to Icrontic :)

your video card has to have a TV-In line. If memory serves me correctly that card doesn't. In which case you need to get either A) a video card that does or b) a seperate video input card or c) There are some usb devices that will also act as video capture plug ins.

kryyst are correct. You need some sort of tv-card and the simplest is a cheap USB-based one. Shouldn't be more than $30 on Ebay.
