Windows 2000 won't boot after

I am having a strange problem. I am using Nortons 2003 to clone 411 college PC's with the 2000 O/S on it. I have had no problems with Gateways models E4100, 4000, 2000 and 5200 also on AMD 2500+. However, when I attempt to clone Gateway desktop thin line E1200 and E3400 the systems get to the black screen ( windows starting)with the bar at the bottom. The bar fills up and then the PC doesn't do a thing. I can't even get to the safe mode. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

    Could be to many differences with the hardware for your clone disksto work from. Do a full install on an E2100 or E3400 then make an image of that and use it to clone the rest of them.
