step 1) make sure you have a second computer connected to the network.

step 2) get on the computer he is not on, and open a command prompt.

step 3) type in "ipconfig /renew" and make sure that the flux capacitor is correctly communicating with the central routing packet station.

setp 4) type in "netstat" and make sure that all incoming and outgoing connections are valid and that the "feds" arent checking for your digital "fingerprint" and trying to "h4x0r" you.

step 5) go grab a glass of lemonade, this next part is tricky.

step 6) type in "ping 127.0.0.1 -t" and when that finishes, you should be ready for the next step.

step 7) walk over to your brother on the target computer and ask him nicely if you can use it.

    :D:D:D

    Computer prank programs: http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/entertainment/

I have a fond memory of using the MouseMove prank with a friend. We put the program in someone's startup profile at school one day, and every few seconds or so mouse would just end up fudging a little :D Like move a little bit to the left and over here... hehe, then we put like, 100 mousemove progs in his startup and his mouse went ballistic :D He was freaking out.

    ok....

um, i guess i thought it would be fairly obvious that my post above is a joke...but apparently not. anyway, we shouldnt be supporting malicious software anyway, although there is tons of fun to be had with netbus. :D

actually, if its a windows xp machine, you can set up remote desktop, and log in from another computer and that automatically takes control from the user currently there . . .

That would log the current user out.

yes, thats correct. if the current user is logged out, then they therefore no longer have control.

i thought step 7 would especially give it away, but...guess not :D

I got the joke....I was about to say the same thing about no malicious ideas....What I found ironic (or icrontic if you like the pun) is that the 'hackingguru' didn't realize that all you issued was a repeating ping command and all the previous steps basically just show you network status. Too funny.

    Old one but a classic.
Take a screen shot of his desktop and set it to the background wallpaper. Then move all his icons to the bottom right.
    voila...... frozen computer!
