athlon 64 up and folding!

well since i have been in the process of moving two of my folding rigs are down. but i did upgrade my 2500+ main to a 3200+ athlon 64. so i am once again moving up in the ranks!

    awesssommeee!!!! a 64bit f@h client would be nice :)

    i wonder if they are working on one.

    soon soon, still havin to wait to start up my new althon 64 rig, hopfully the hard drive will get here in time for the week end! :)

    Last I heard, there is no rush to get a 64 bit client out there right now. I imagine that will change once 64 bit XP is on the market though, since Intel is also going to add x86-64 extentions to Xeon and future P4 releases in the near future too. That would make a big enough base of machines supporting x86-64 with both AMD and Intel producing x86-64 and having a mainstream OS like XP-64 for it to make it worth Stanford's while. Plus, I imagine that they are holding back until they can get some 64 bit Xeons to make sure their 64 bit port is compatible with both AMD and Intel 64 bit extentions.
