magic cpu:gpu ratio?

What is a good ratio here, like in terms of speed? For optimal performance and cost, don't concern todays prices of specific cards.

I guess I really am wondering how much cpu speed Unreal 2004 needs to run because I stuck in a better card on a 1.3ghz and didn't notice hardly a thing. I didn't realize it took so much processor juice till I finally checked the task manager.

Unreal 2004 :drinkup: 100% and :bowdown: for more.

    its not just your cpu that youre maxing out, chances are you also need more memory bandwidth as well. im thinking at least 2ghz+ (intel) for a gfx card to start making a big difference
