Well, About a week ago I got my new rig. I got a Hitachi 7ksomething 160gb drive. I was wondering, does windows 2000 only read drives under 127GB(Since that's what it says I have..) Or did I mismatch one of the jumpers?

Something about LBA and/or 48-bit addressing springs to mind here.

I know nothing about this though, just heard one or the other of those terms when trying to use the whole of a drive larger than 127 gb

All I see that resembles the bit thing your talkin about is the block transfer, and it only goes up to 32, where it is now.
