Random restarts

Since I've added my Hitachi HD (see sig below), I've been getting random restarts. I suspect the power supply, but the voltage readings from Asus Probe seem fine (+12V@12.403; +5V@5.107; +3.3V@3.36; 1.616 Vcore). I'm running the latest mobo BIOS. Any ideas?

    By the way, the restarts occur when my computer is idle in Windows. The temps are fine: 34C CPU, 34C System.

    uhm... in windows xp they added a new "feature" where your computer will automatically restart if it bluescreens. this makes you think xp doesnt have bluescreens when infact it does. Either way to deactivate this "feature" go:

    Start => Control Panel => System => Advanced => Startup and Recovery => Uncheck "Automatically Restart"

    Also you will notice while in there that there is a function to write an event to the system log... hell if i know what log they are talking about but if you find this "system log" it coudl help you on your quest.
