QuickTime - System Tray

how can i get rid of QuickTime showing up in my system tray whenever i power on? i mean, i can right-click on it and exit, but it's getting to be a pain i can do without.

    right click then properties or prefrences (forget which) then I believe in the general settings the last check box should be remove from system tray.

    rigt-click it, go to browser plug-in, then uncheck "quicktime system tray"

    Also, if you have XP, you can use the run command and open "msconfig", and goto the last tab, i think its startup. There is a list of everything that starts up.

    If you remove it from there and launch quicktime, it will recreate itself in startup.
