New Raptor!

Only problem I see is that it doesn't incorporate 16 or higher mb cache like Seagate and possibly other companies are going to put on their hard drives, and it still isn't native SATA.

Finally, WD jumps onto the wagon for the FDB motors! I just hope they are as good or better than Maxtor's and Seagate's. If they are I am going to ignore everyone but the new Raptor. :jelly:

    wait, are these NEW models of 36 and 74 gig drives at 10k rpm's? cuz i think these have been around for a little while. i was confused, i was thinking these were like brand new drives, and so i kept searching the page for what was different from mine (i got a 36 gig raptor about a month ago, and love it). but yeah, these are great drives . . .

    but is yours FDB??? Western Digital has been so stingy on giving that HUGE neccesity, although they might call it a luxery.

    umm yea man i got a 36 gig and a 74 gig raptor have had them for a while now
