motherboard recommendations
At the moment i'm using an MSI KT4 ultra with a silicon image pci raid card ATA133 but the data transfer from drive to drive seems very slow (5 x 120 gig ata133 and 1 x 200 gig ata133) all my drives are 7200rpm and since installing SP2 it seems to have gotten worse. Even without SP2 it was pretty bad so im looking for a raid motherboard IDE not SATA as all my drives are IDE and it will be too expensive to get extra gender changers for so many drives. I have another 200 gig drive due to be delivered tomorrow and i plan on removing the 120 gig drives and the pci raid card so my ftp will be reduced to around 400 gig instead of 800 gig unfortunatley although im not sure wether to sell the 120's or put them in my spare pc for now until i can get a decent motherboard.
So does anyone have any recomendations by the way it must be AGP 8.0 with IDE raid and support an AMD XP 2800+ :jelly:
