Identifying Vid Card Memory

Ok, so, I've heard about how you can get a Radeon 9800 (Non-pro) and so long as it has samsung memory, you can oc it to pro or xt stats, but how do you tell what memory is on a given video card?

First look at the card see if the mem chips are labled. If you luck out and it says samsung you are in luck. If not (most likely) it'll have some number son them you then must use your google skills and start searching. The other place you may want to check is tomshardware and do a search for that card if any site has got it and it's a legit option tomshardware will.
