Folding on rotten apples

Is there a way you can fold as a service on apples? I am mainly interested in the Mac OS 10 way.

    Just download the client for OSX. what do you mean as a service? you can set it to run on boot, if that's what you mean. but if like as a background thing, i don't know, you'd have to go into the console. try a mac forum

    well i want it run in the background, and also to automatically start, the person using the computer should never know its even running/there.
