Gigabyte K8N Pro No Video

I need help, im about to shoot myself, i need some help getting my Athlon 64 up an runnin, Im usin Radeon 128MB, and i cant get any Video to show up even on an old PCI Video Card, please need help!

    Does everything spin up? If so, do you hear POST beeps? If not, try resetting the CMOS.

    Is your monitor definitely working? Try a different monitor if you're unsure.

    Make sure the motherboard isn't grounding on the case either. Take it out and rest it on something non-conductive and only have necessary hardware installed while booting.

    Just a few suggestions. Hope they help.

    The Processor is toasted, anyone know how to return chips back to AMD? How long it take to get back!?

    Check AMD's website. If you recently purchased it, you'll probably have to go through the reseller.

    I had it out of the socket for 2 weeks and put it back in and now this... I dont know.


    Any suggestions?

    ya thats it. if you leave it out of the socket in the open and it isn't in anti-static material then it can get zapped very easily when you pick it up again. just tell amd that it came faulty.
