case modding

ok dont laugh ive never modded my pc or anything and id thought id give it a shot by buying a new gaming case and get rid of my stupd dell one ok is it easy to switch over the internals to a different case or like really hard becuase i am a total noob when it comes to this stuff if it is hard is there a tutorial that can help me or something.....

    take the side panel off of your old case, and study the inside of it. look at all of the connections, cd rom, burner, hard drive etc. and just make sure you know how to plug everything back together as it originally was. Pm Me.

    One thing before you do all that...

    Dell is dumb when it comes to making cases because of how the motherboard mounts and such. I tried putting another system inside a Dell box and putting the old Dell system into a normal box and there was just no way it would work out so I dunno how successful you'll be trying to put a Dell machine in a new normal box.

    Dell loves to make everything proprietary, so be careful. lots of times, only dell power supplies will work on the supplied motherboard, so make sure the Dell PSU will swap over fine. Which it often doesn't. Rot in hell, Dell.
