Anyone know how to hot-wire a PSU?

as in title. I need to hotwire a PSU so that it stays on, in order to run a fan on my DSL modem, which I believe is overheating. Anyone who can tell me how, please reply here. :)

    Connect the green wire to any of the black wires. Green is start, and black is ground.

    Just dont electrocute yourself :)

    Paperclips have always worked well for me.
