Sound Card Confusion

Currently, I can't get any music to play through Windows Media Player v.10, but I can hear all other sounds. Does this make sense? Do I need to do an uninstall/reinstall of Media Player?

    Ok...I feel like a complete idiot. Missed the other volume control on Media Player. Thanks anyway...great site.
