Dracula Pc Case

edited November 2004 in Hardware
what do you all think about the Dracula Special Edition Blue case? I think it looks pretty cool, but it doesnt look too airflow friendly, well from the front at least. i might be getting a new case soon, just wondering if you guys had any ideas or comments. - http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/cas-253.html

If you looking for a case that has good airflow look for one that has two 120' fans and at least one or two 80' to 92' fans.

I dunno, man. It looks alright I suppose, but I'm all about sleek aesthetics. Lian-Li cases reminds me of a nice sexy BMW :jelly:

cellstar21, believe me man looks can get old (if you like the flashy kinds of cases thats fine) but in the long run you will thank yourself if you go for quietness before aesthetics. go for 120mm fans! here is a link to a very quiet and good looking case:

    case 1

    case 2

personally, I don't give a damn about fan noise. If it's loud, I'll just drown it out with music. At LAN parties, nobody ever notices because everyone ELSE's PCs are also loud, and everyone has headphones on anyway. So, I prioritize in this order: Functionality, looks, noise.

I've had a relatively noisy PC for 5 years. It doesn't bother me.

i had my pc overclocked and riddled with fans for just under 3 years, finally i got tired of turning it off my comp to watch tv or play xbox

damn, my pc is so LOUD! i mean, when i get home from school, im tired as hell, and i try and rest, my PC IS HUMMING LIKE CRAZY, can hear it a room down. but besides that noise isnt too bad, its alright i guess, ionno about anything at the moment.

I never used to care about fan noise a few years back, in the Apus Hardware days... those were the days when I was looking for more speed and how to keep my case as cool as possible. Now I've somewhat mellowed out and prefer whisper-silence. Music sounds a whole lot better too. :D

    what do i think? :rice:

too much bling. make your own, then it's the only one.

Exactly - too much bling bling! The case is in a bad taste. Go for the sleek BMW look. Simple, effective, sleek :D

so sleek is a bit better than the "cool" look?

    I agree.

That case is pretty cool, I guess. It almost blinded me when the page first loaded up though... hehe. I do like the handle on it.
