Dying WD 120 HD??

Sometimes my harddrive just stalls when my system boots. Sometimes my system boots in less than 30 seconds, the way it always did, other times it hangs there with the harddrive light on for like 2-3 minutes. It happens randomly without me setting anything different. Could this be the beginning of my WD 120 HD failing? Any suggestions?

    You need this.

    Run that, it will create a bootable floppy. Boot off the floppy and run the diagnostic, and it should let you know.
