Video File In *.rmvb Format

Hello there,

How can I play the video file that is in the *.rmvb format?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

You need real player or real one to play it. The other option is to get the Real Media codec and you can play it through Media Player classic.

So first thing is to get the k-lite codec from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
that will give you 99% of the codecs and players you'll ever possibly need.

Next is to get the Real Alternative codec from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm

install run and be happy.

OKay! I've only just got another one, the "RealOneplayer".

if you did klite and the real alternative codec you shouldn't need realoneplayer. But you have to use media player classic which comes with klite.

Try that first before getting realoneplayer.

yeah, the codec pack is much preferable. that way, you can play all the quicktime stuff (.mov, .aaf) and all the real one stuff (.rm, .ram, and .rmvb) and any number of other video files . . .

i actually prefer the mega codec pack myself, which can be found here
