ICS via a router
I want to share an internet connection from an XP machine to a win2k machine.
I have a linksys wireless router I used to use for this, but we moved and got an ADSL modem with USB rather than ethernet connection, so I can't plug it directly into the router any more. The modem is connected to the XP machine, and both PCs have working wireless connections to the router (I can go to 192.168.1.1 and see the setup screen)
I can't work out how to share the internet connection though. Everywhere seems to suggest that it should happen automatically, but I think that because I'm using a router rather than just a hub or switch, this doesn't happen.
Do I need to change some settings on the router to allow the internet connection to be shared between the PCs?

Anyway if you are out of options you may be able to get it to work by setting bridging the usb network adapter to the wireless one on the XP machine. Then set up ICS sharing between the two pc's and the router.
