hey i'm looking for some nice headphones under 100 bucks, i was just browsing newegg and i like this one but i'm not real familiar with the specs that seperate the bad ass from the overpriced

    Didnt really have time to try to find where someone is selling these-But they seem like a very good deal for the price. -Zalman 5.1

    Nah, you wanna stay away from Zalman. Many people really dislike it, and 5.1... on headphones? Sounds like a gimmick.

    Look at Sennheiser's. They make decent cans for the money.

    I'm personally more inclined towards Grado or the higher-end Sony's.

    I would go for expensive Sonys too, or some stereo/music brand rather than 'computer' headphones. They will sound better and wont look nearly as cheap...

    ...love my Sennheiser HD500s! Got them for $60 on Amazon last year... (normally $100)

    Im gettin a pair of those sony's for christmas (along with 30 gig mp3 player :drool: )

    I was going to get the Sennhsier HD 555's, which I know would be nicer, but I dont have the money
