Graphics software opinion

What graphics software do you recomend for webpage graphics?

I am no artist, so any help from the softwares tools will be a plus. :help:

    I use photoshop/paint for everything. Learning photoshop is a good idea in the long run

    If you are on a budget and want to work legit get The Gimp. It's not as powerful as PhotoShop but it's about the next best thing. Plus it's free.

    he said graphics. i learned how to use fireworks first, loved it, then realized how limited it was, now i wish i'd learned PS first, but now i don't do much web stuff.

    Yea, I use Front page 2002 for my churches website, and I just want to spruce up the graphics and such. I wrote the site mostly from code years ago and most of the graphics are boxie and bland. I have made some graphics, but as I said I am no artist. I have and old version of Paint Shop Pro (V5.03 I think) and it does have lots of capabilities, but I dunno. I'm just stuck on what to do with it.
