Is there a way to get this everyday annoyance in the incinerator? I ofcourse always want to say yes to viewing the page, but I havn't found any settings in the options to get this turned off. :help: If I see that damn popup that slows me down and makes me work extra hard just once more tonight I am either going to :faint:, :bawling:, or my personal favorite :shoot: :shoot: :shoot: :Bill Gates: I want to throw him in the fire where he belongs, sort of like this: :rarr:

If your using IE for a browser--Go to the (Tools) menu at the top of the page-Click- (Internet Options), when that opens you'll go to the (Advanced) tab, scroll all the way to the bottom where it says- (Warn if changing between secure and nonsecure mode). Uncheck that setting. that should do it.

LiLbRo, I realize that is a benefit of FireFox.

Hawk, I have tried that and it doesn't work, it only stops the pop ups from when changing between https and a http. I don't believe there is a setting (I've looked thouroghly) to turn the problem off, that's why I came here.

Have you tried XP Anti Spy? That might turn it off. xp-AntiSpy
By the way- what OS are you running?/ver. servicepack? And I'm assuming your using IE. Are you running any anti virus or spyware programs in the background?

The thing about that nag is that the first time it popped up it should have a had a checkbox with the typical 'do you wish to be told about this in the future' kind of message. Next time you get that message on the bottom right of your explorer window there is a little icon. That pops up right click it and see if there is an option there.

Good, Glad I could help. I hate annoying little popups like that. I'm always looking for programs to get rid of or stop that kind of stuff.
