    no. The cpu is a dud (due to broken thermal throttling code) Pentium 4 560 (aka 3.6GHz) CPU. Because of this, I can run it at that speed (actually slightly less due to cooling limitations at the moment) and be stable without at all increasing the voltage.

    my system freezes if the CPU attempts to throttle itself. It's supposed to skip cycles, but instead just locks up. It's a defect.
