Attache` 2.0 Flash Drive

My PC which runs XP as the operating system recognizes my flash drive when it is inserted in a USB port but the icon for the drive doesn't show up in Explorer or the system tray. How can I use this device if its icon is not in a place that I can drag to.

    If you open up mycomputer and type into the address bar the next availible drive it will open it up, ie. f: or g:.
