firstly hallo and happy new year to all, i'm hoping one of ye can help me.

i went to set up an administrator account for myself, and then gave my girl friends account limited access. but when i went to switch users, the admin. account wasn't there!! now all i have is a limited account, eekkkk!

a friend of mine told me i can go to safe mode on start-up, and reactivate old accounts. tried that but i'm a beginer and haven't a clue what i'm doing.

can anyone gave me a detailed solution to this problem?? please!

thanks alot!

If your using Win XP Pro, you can just press ctrl+alt+del and you'll find a tab that says (Users). Click on it and it will show you the user accounts. Rightclick the user account you want to use and click connect.
Another way you might try seeing the accounts if you're running Win XP Pro is hit the Windows key + L and it will give you the login window. I'm not sure if it will show your admin account that way or not, but you can try it.
You can also get the users login window by typing nusrmgr.cpl in the run box.
If you running Win XP Home or Win 98, you'll have to reboot and hit f8 into safe mode, then the administrator will show up as a login.
Let us know if any of these work. Hope it helped.

You should probably start your own thread and be more descriptive of your issue.
