wow, i cant believe it. but the thing that REALLY gets me, is all the good reviews its gotten. that blows my mind. does anyone here on the forums want to brave the waters and try it out (im scared to even try it for ph34r of the SP2 effect).

key-razy

EDIT://ok, so i broke down, and started installing it, and what is the first thing i see?

"now with spynet technology"

something about that just sounds shady . . .

it has a better engine than ad aware. ms bought giant AS and thats what it is using. it just goes into so much more detail than adaware or spybot . .

Firefox + thunderbird = no problems.

One thing I'd be curious to see is if M$'s own spyware program removes all the spyware this is built into XP to begin with.

I'm sure it's good. But the only spyware firefox lets in are cookie trackers at least that's been my experience in the last several months. Those aren't really spyware persay. It's the 'click on me' to close style pop ups that are the real problems. or banners that people don't pay attention to that are the biggest issue.

I broke down and downloaded it...

and it found 1 thing! kinda surprised me, but I was happy to see it found it..

also the GUI of this program is very nice, better than ad aware or spybot..
