Can anyone help me,

Thanks, I did find all of the drivers for my ashton digital advance 7 execept for the moden.

The problem I have now, is I had to put windows 98 on it because everytime I tried to install windows xp, it would shut down. Right at the point when it says starting windows.

I think its trash time.

    yeah googles not bringing anything up. If you can find the specific cards used in the laptop you should be able to find drivers for them if not though this gets dirtier.

    Get a copy of Knoppix or Mephis linux on cd. Then boot the laptop from the cd and hopefully it'll detect your hardware. Right down the info and start the search from there.
