How do I stop vv3.s13.tempx.cc from popping up

edited February 2005 in Science & Tech
When I check my e-mails and Norton eliminates a virus, this internet window pops up telling me to download spyware.

The web address is vv3.s13.tempx.cc, and after it pops up it takes a minute or two for Outlook to start receiving mail again.

I have used Microsoft's new beta spyware, Spybot, and the coolweb mini-program, but I am still getting this popping up.

Thanks,

I'm having the same problem, for a while it wouldn't even let me open "My Computer" or msn. So far i've worked it out to i can open my computer and go through run commands. However i can't figure out how the to get rid of this cock sucking annoying piece of shit..!! Never been this mad at this shit before. I found it in my registry stuff, change it around so it'll stop routing to the site, run ad-aware and it deletes the other stuff, run virus scanner and that cleans up another 10 files (god...), restart computer, and bam! Registry reset, spyware back and virus scanner finds the same 10 files, and repeat...

*Edit- Problem solved, so annoying! Open internet explorer
Tools > Manage Add-Ons > You'll find something in there with NO PUBLISHER and the description will be a huge registry entry, the file name will be 3-4 letters long with .dll on it, it's random aparently, mine was iiie.dll.

Disable it if you think you've found it, run ad-aware to clean that shit up, then restart, it should fix it up.

Checking Outlook Express should not get a popup. :yell1:

I wasn't having the problem just saying that it's a nice fix. I'm with Golden DSL and use Thunderbird for my mail client.
