That seems a little expensive.. I've been thinking about the same cooler myself which goes for about £7 here..

There is also a revision 4 (which are about 3 times the price) which may work out better depending on what card you have.

yah, I need the NV rev 3 so as to fit on my BFG 5900XT, or go with a different brand.

I would go for that one then, they seem to do very well in reviews but shop around, that seems too expensive. Oh and let mw know how you get on with it. I'm hoping to overclock my Radion 9600 Pro to death once I pick one up. That way I have an excuse to spend £200 on a new graphics card :)

You can do the mod i have done on an old 9500np of mine.
Just take an Athlon stock cooler (with a copper base its better) make to holes and screw it with ceramique on the card.it will be silent andgives a powerful cooling effect.Alternative you can cut from an other heatsink ramsinks and glue them with some thermal adhesive on the rams.

I use the sandwidth type heatsink, but I got mine when they were only available with 1 heatpipe. I've had zero problems using it on an FX5600.

Dam i feel for you guyz that are still air cooled, especially on the videocards. My X800 XTPE has the swiftech MCW50 and i have ramsinks. Not 1 single problem here :)

Yea, limited budget here, so I went for the NV silencer 3 @ $22.00. It'll be here on Thursday. ;)
