sever problems with aol IM.

Okay, before it only happened once in awhile. I'd log in, and someone would message me or i would message someone, and occasionally it'd say ''aol has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. we are sorry for the inconvienince.''. But now EVERYTIME someone messages me, or i message someone, it does this. I tried logging in on my old aol IM account, and the same thing occured. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance.
