edited February 2005 in Hardware
I have a problem with my new comp. When ever i move a window its all laggy and it hops from place to place. My mouse it allso stuck on its top speed and flys all over the place. So i have a radeon 9600, amd 64,512 ddr ram, windows xp home and a wireless mouse (a cheap 1) but brand name. im not sure whats going on with the comp but its alll fucked up. its not a bad comp it just runs terrible. any suggestions

go to the ATI website and download the latest drivers. this looks to be a case of non-updated video drivers. as for the mouse, i would go control panel, switch to classic view, then dbl click on the mouse icon and make sure that your sensitivity isn't to high.

These are just options to set the way you like,do you have Tweakui installed,if not get it,relax and check and test your options.
p.s.Did you install the mouse software ? oops
    Forget Mousewares.Let PS2 do it.

ive gone to the contral panel>mouse and check sensitivity and i am unable to move the sensitivity. the sensitivity it on its lowest mark thing and it still goes super fast.

I just remember this about cordless,re my manual from Logitec.
Put the receiver away from the case or monitor. It's very tempting to put it on top of the case, right on top of the pws.

Turn on and off the advanced effects one by one in options. My old ATI card did the same thing. I think turning off transparancy or something fixed it.
