I hope you don't see this as unhelpfull but thats how i determined my asus purchase.P4B533.
All the stats are very well explained better than someone with other mbd's can.
• Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Kingston pc4000........
The memory itself is rated for 500MHz operation with 3-4-4-8-1 (CAS Latency 3) timing. The memory timings are rather high, but you’ll need to remember that these modules are basically DDR400 memory that has been tested and validated by Kingston to run at DDR500 using v2.6. Unfortunately, memory timings need to be increased to attain this speed.
So, That said, It will work because that MB will use DDR400, but if you want to max it out to 500 you'll have to up the memory timings. And I couldn't tell you if you can run it a 500 on that board or any other for that matter. It's just a case of overclocking the ram. Some systems run great doing that and some don't. Myself, I'd go for the pc4000. At worst it will only run at DDR400.
