Windows 2k Dos At Start-up
Back in the day my brother pulled one over on me. With windows 98 he was able to edit the autoexec batch file so that at start-up all it would do is go to a blank Dos screen and say "press any key to continue...". Well he finally fessed up and showed me how he did it. Only after a whole afternoon of me trying to figure out why my computer was fried. Now today I'd like to pull that trick on someone else but I cannot figure out how to mess with the autoexec batch file on windows 2k. Doesnt work the same way as old 98 did. Biggest issue is getting it to start in a dos mode (full screen blank with c: prompt). I can only get the small dos window from the start-up menu. Is it possible to do something like this on a 2k machine or am I out of luck.
