How can Chinese filenames be shown properly?

edited February 2005 in Science & Tech
I am using the English version of Windows XP Professional with SP1 and SP2 installed. The Chinese filenames cannot be shown properly under Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player. Recently, I burnt a CD with some MP3 songs with Chinese filenames. When viewed from the Windows Explorer, the Chinese filenames from the CD still could not be shown properly. But when I use the Windows Media Player to play that CD, the Chinese filenames can be shown properly. Could somebody please tell me how the Chinese filenames can be shown properly under Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player?

IT could also be the filesystem std for the CDR that you're using. Certain characters may not be allowed. That's only if you have already installed the chinese fonts from XP.
