My Gromac Exploded...

edited November 2003 in Folding@Home
I was running p1025_FSunf_273_GS and it started out as a nice little cluster last night and this morning I went to see how it was coming and all the molecules were floating separate from the others.
I was pretty amazed by that.
It didn't fold, it blew the heck up!!

I like watching the progress so I am running the graphical client in two instances so I can see what is going on (yes I have no life) and I've seen some gromacs start out all spread out but they ended up in a cluster, this was the first to end up going the opposite way.

You know that when you look at those purdy pics you are slowing it down? It takes CPU cycles to draw those pics.

are you sure the Enterprise wasn't warping through there? Or just missed the part where is says:

    Space the final frontier

Going where no one has gone before.......

I just open it to check it for about 10 seconds at a go...I'm sure that being in I.E. is slowing them both down as well but this is my only computer and I'm not just going to use it for folding...I didn't spend close to $4000.00 building this just to leave it folding all the time like a lab experiment and never mess with it.
Not to say that I mind folding, don't get me wrong but this is my only pc and I have to have a little fun with it too.
(I hope nobody misunderstands me...I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just want to play with my computer as well as to help fold)
