Wanted to find out what you all think is a good MB for an AMD Athlon 1000 or 1.2 proc.? I figure a little older board will be less expensive than the new boards of today.
And forgot to mention I've got pc133 ram for it.

ECS MB's have VERY VERY POOR QC. Consider yourself lucky if it works!

    DFI Makes a cheapie Socket A - AZ30-TL
    Biostar M7VIZ-A23
    Soyo KT600

Cheapy MB's that will run that proc.

Thnx IT, That gives me a couple more choices to look at. The Biostar & Soyo look pretty good. The DFI is a little lower on the features ladder than the others.

I still have an MSI 6330 from when I had a 1 gig tbird which still folds to this day with a 1800AXP and 640 mb ram. Has a VIA kt133a chipset.

Checked em IT, They all have DDR ram slots. Won't work.
rapture old buddy, Thats one that will work and it's only $29.95. MSI K7T Pro I guess there's not many boards with the 133 chpsts around..
    Here's another one I found-- ECS K7S5A.
Still going to look a bit, just to make sure I get something I can be satisfied with.

Well for as long as i've been building pc's, and that's some years, ( i'm 44 so take a guess how long) all the ECS boards i've had worked flawlessly. Like any other company pc parts do fail. One company i would never use is Biocrap.

    Nuff said-
