Hawk posted this on the front page, but I just found out somthing cool.

download it.
uninstall previous version without saving any settings.
install new version.
all your favorites and plugins will still be there.

    is there anyway to save that stuff when I reformat?

    Oh, Cool, Thnx for the info on that Zuntar. I haven't had a chance to DL it yet. Just finishing up the inlaws pc. Installing software, tweaking etc.

    You have to backup the following directory

    Documents and Settings>username>Application Data>Mozilla>Firefox

    Apllication Data is a hidden directory.

    So just copy the firefox directory and all it's contents off then do your clean OS install dl and install firefox and copy this directory overtop of the newly created one.
