Jigsaw with a Metal blade, tape it off good

As Gnome said, Tape where the jig saw is going to ride around the outside of the cut reeaall good. Or you'll get scratches and have to repaint.
Use a narrow fine metal cutting blade and let the blade do the cutting. Don't force it. Thats how I did mine and it turned out ok. I did the 120 fan in the top too.

As both of you stated how to do it there is still the problem of getting my hands on a jigsaw. I'm still in High School and did the painting over the weekend. I don't think I have the money to buy one. Any other suggestions?

Yes, Take it to your metalshop at school.... Even if you don't take classes in metal shop, the teacher might cut it for you, if you ask nicely. Or, He might even coach you on how to cut it and let you use the tools. Scribe out the window size before you take it in, or take the window with you. And don't forget to take tape with you.

Again nother problem. I live in Cali and electives are getting cut out all the time. We no longer have a metalshop. We do have a woodshop but I'm not sure wether they would have the proper tools. Thanks though

Why did you not buy what suits your needs instead of trying to doing it yourself.?
Do you plan on adding Goldfish ?

Because, a lot of times it is cheaper to do things yourself. Also, he may enjoy the modding aspect. I know I do.

Nicely Stated Cyclonite, I feel that modding a case is a form of art and it is true that building it yourself is almost always much cheaper than buying it stock. For my current system I actually got the Processor for free from my uncle. Which saved me a bit of money. Plus it's fun to do things yourself and you get bragging rights. And no gramps i don't plan on adding goldfish. It's not an aqairium. So go B$%@h to someone else.

Bet you didn't know that, lighten up and see the humor here.
You are posting isolated cases. My son is modding my old case.
There are no answers, only questions that can't be answered.
Sure it would be great to create a complete case. Then why not take the appropiate school courses ?
A form of art is not a topic listed for this forum.

oldtimer, when you've got multiple people replying with the same confusion about your posts, it's fairly obvious that you're a little out of whack. I'm starting to think you're posting drunk all the time with the beer drinking smilies in every post.

hmm.. dunno. I don't think there is an age limit, you might want to have your parents come with you just in case they refuse.

just make make sure to explain to them what you're trying to do with this tool, I don't think they will have a problem renting to you. its not like you're going to cut up some poor shmuck's car or something! :)
