Is there something I should be doing to get avi video files to work 100% of the time? They usually only work some of the time, for the video, sound works all the time.

I usually use Winamp if that matters, but can use others, but I never have any luck.

Sometimes, only sometimes a restart helps.

Actually it is a recent tv program I missed that I want to watch today and this is just bugging me when it doesn't work.

Have you got the latest codecs? Generally that the problem 99% of the time. Just get the latest ones I pimp k-lite master but there are others equally as good.

Oh and winamp plays AVI files? That's news to me but then again I haven't used winap since 2.5.

    Well what's everyone use?

I've been a fan since version 2, despised version 3, and then loved winamp again for version 5. I don't like Media Player, but occasionally use it. And ones that come with software bundles I don't install, and I don't really look for any others.

Winamp does everything, even radio and tv, better than others too! Just still not as good as Spinner Plus once was before AOL or whoever took them over. (I made a thead about that somewhere)
