I take my home PC to work, to test connection. I hook up to the LAN (same as home), and after working machine hard DLing and stuff, A box opens.

Customer%20Care%20IDLE%20dialog.jpg

NEVER seen it before. If it's talking about being IDLE online - that's bull. Been busy as hell. I was busy the moment it opened.

(Scratch the CUSTOMER CARE part. Another window)

I've never seen that message before but I think that's generated from the network and passed down. Looks like a VPN session message.

I know on my DSL here at home I have to make sure that the "keep alive" setting is enabled on my linksys router in the settings area.. Maybe you have to set it on the work router. I'm also assuming you don't get this message on your home network?
Also, There's quite a few free programs that will keep your broadband connection alive.
All they do is ping the server every so often. You can even set them to ping at certain intervals after you find out what the time limit is.

I HAD been on ati.com's DL page - which is new. I think it caused the box.

I've never seen it before at all, and I have had this PC at work before.
