Microsoft Pop Up Windows

I hope someone can help me with this problem I'm having with Microsoft Pop-Up windows. I have no idea why all these pop up windows started back up, but in the last few days, everything I do anything on-line, I get these stupid frustrating pop up windows. I have a high speed connection through Earth Link and Bell South, and the main reason I went with Earth Link was because of their blocking capabilities. Until now, they had the best Pop-Up Blocker and ScamBlocker on the market. When I changed to Earth Link, my Pop-Up windows virtually came to a hault, until recently. I figured I must have downloaded something to make this start happening again. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I would be forever grateful.
