edited April 2005 in Hardware
ok here's a list of who im looking at.

TDK:
HP:
Memorex:
PHilips:

So who are the most dependible? Im going to be burning alot of multmedia projects and iso's (iso don't fail me when burning compatibility). It would also be nice if the dvd's would last more then 2 years.

I personally use Maxell and have had horrible luck with memorex.

Maxell is all I use. Forget about any other brand.

Well, I have used Imation, Circuit City, and would say I havn't had any trouble with the Imation. I can bend the Imation all the way and the other way all the way and can't crack it. I have never been able to break an Imation cd. Circuit City is crap, this is the cd I test things on or give out to people, I never put my stuff on it.

I have Khypermedia and Spin-X but have never used them... (I hoard cd-r :fu: :rarr::p ). I would guess Khypermedia is okay, but not as good as the Imation. The Spin-X I have been told are made by Imation, but I still don't think they are as good.

I have had 0% success rate on no-name CDs and CD-Rs without some brand label on the top of them.
