would like thoughts on a system...
I'm planning on building my first system this summer, mainly for some CAD classes next year and maybe a few games. I've picked out the following items. I still need a case, vid card, and a few fans for sure, but other than that is there anything I forgot/should look into?
I've also got questions about the mother board and ram. I read about this MSI motherboard being picky about single sided DDR and double sided DDR ram. I read that when filling all 4 DIMM slots with memory (which I planned on doing, 2- 1gig sticks and 2- 512mb sticks), and that memory was 2 sided, the speed would be reduced to 333mhz instead of the full 400. Would that be the case if I used the memory below?
