Audio CD ---> MP3 Conversion software

Anyone have any recommendations on good conversion software that is free? I have several cds I want to rip onto the hard drive.

    I personally like itunes with their error correction it's never failed me at getting through copy protection even if it takes longer.

    O.K. I am wondering if anyone there knows where I can get a program to turn wav, mp3s, and so forth into cda? thank you all.

    Ummm cda is just standard cd audio. So just about any burning software like Nero for example take the files you want and then burns an audio CD. By burning an AUDIO cd that will turn them all into cda files.
