Think I goofed....Already...lol

But I know yah have the answer....


PC working great...but did a WU...saw a new hardware update for my OB sound....

Downloaded and installed....Looked like everything went ok...but when rebooted...no sound....device manager has an ! now by my OB sound....


Just role back or yah know a better suggestion?

    I would try rolling the driver back. You shouldn't have any problems worse than it still not working.
    Sorry, Just got to lookin at other threads here.
    Glad you got the system up & running.
    I don't do updates on hardware unless I'm having a problem with them usually.
    Or, I know it will be a great benefit to update it.

    I'm with hawk generally I don't do the mircrosoft hardware updates when it comes to sound or video cards more often then not they are about 6 months behind the actual manufacture updates for the parts because of M$ soft/hardware assurance policy.

    yep...roll back took care of it....gonna just leave it alone...


    although....i really thought this setup would be faster.....but i just aint seeing it...

    NP bud, I get a little time I'll IM ya.
    Got a few jobs I'm working right now.
    I get to jump in here to post a few times a day, in between paperwork & phonecalls. lol
