Abit NF7-S v2.0 minus 5 volt (-5V) power rail

I recently replaced my old PSU with an Enermax FPU 535w. When I started up Abit EQ software, the alarm was going off. The cause was the minus 5V reading was outside the default margins (between Low-limit of -5.50V to Hi-Limit of -4.50V). My reading is 3.55V (no minus or plus sign displayed). The Abit EQ software didnt sound any alarm on my last PSU so I was wondering what can cause my -5 rail to be abnormal? Maybe its a faulty PSU - altho I have no experienced any instability yet. Also, the 4-pin 12V auxilary line didnt fit the socket on the motherboard - is this normal, or have the pins been put on the wire the wrong way round.
