OK. Here goes.
I redwnlaoded RP recently and I burned some rax. files from the library "successfuly" only to find "unrecognized files" or other error mess's like rp's "dirty cd or rp not configured to play cd's digitally" when tryin to playback. I went to rp's tools/pref. and made sure cd recording settings were set at digital. These "successful" coasters wont play on anything. RP will still rip, burn (not rax.) and play cds, even rax. files burned prior to redownloading RP. I have been using phillips brand cd-r's and im heading out the door to buy a couple of different brands and try that (horse shit!). Yes, I tried different record settings -TAO,DAO, ect.

So like just a question, but is there a reason why you using Real Player? It's the shittiest of all audio compression and the worst player period.

As to your specific problem, back track a bit. What have you done between when it was working and when it stopped working? Also have you tried re-installing the program.
