AMD 939 setup problems.....

edited September 2005 in Hardware
I've got an Asus A8N Proactive and DFI nf4 LandParty SLI mobo's. I can get to the BIOS, but the problem I'm having: : :fishslap: is a constant loud Beep, Beep, Beep,Beep!!!!! I found this beep is not a post code, 'cause I removed the vid card and I heard the post beep behind the loud beep.

This is an AMD 939 setup and I have switched out mobo's, Proc's and vid cards to no avail.

Please someone help, I out of ideas and hope. A lot of $$$$ tied up in this.

Thanks gang :horn:

Yes. with both mobos, two different proc's, two different vid cards.

yeah, it has to be a common component. Try swapping the PSU.

Ok, Well what you might want to check is your inverter inside the power supply. 200W is enough for the board, two sticks of memory, one PCI device, one AGP video card, and one hard drive. 40V board, 5V hard drive, 3.3 V PCI, 0.8V AGP, 186W (Estimated.)
