Which antivirus, Kaspersky or McAfee?

I am looking for an antivirus for Windows XP because I am tired of all that shit that tries to infect my PC. So far I looked into Kaspersky Antivirus and McAfee Virus Scan. Which one is better or should I pick something entirely different?

    I'd recommend AVG it's free and works well.

    Between the two, I would definitely recommend Kaspersky.

    AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic 6 would be your best free antivirus. but between the 2 you said, i would choose kaspersky hands down.

    Because there are other products that do the same job better, cheaper, and with less of an impact on system stability and performance.
